Jim Wilson MD
Jim is an American-born and educated board-certified Family Practitioner (FP). He has resided and practised in Tasmania for 26 years and is a board-certified Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (GP).
In Tasmania Jim initially practised at the Scottsdale Doctors Surgery and Hospital for 13 years, then in Launceston for several years and now at the Burnie TAC/Aboriginal Health Services for about 10 years.
Whilst in Scottsdale and Launceston Jim worked for the TAC/AHS (in Launceston) from 2009-2013. He has past Board experience serving on the Rural Health Workforce Australia National Board and HR+, the Tasmanian state agency of RHWA State Board for 10 years concluding in 2016.
Whenever he can, Jim rides a Mountain Bike.
