Position Overview
Reporting to the Recovery and Independent Living Manager, the Project Officer is responsible for developing, delivering, communicating, and marketing the newly built Richmond Group Independent Living sites. The role is responsible for ensuring that the properties are compliant with required quality standards, stakeholder management is identified and proactively managed, appropriate funding levels are ascertained, resourcing models are recognised, as well as having all procurement completed before properties commence operation and all standard documentation is implemented.
This position will coordinate the referral and intake processes. The role is responsible for working with participants, families, and support coordinators, as well as internal and external stakeholders to promote and market the properties to achieve maximum occupancy upon site opening, project manage the establishment of new accommodation, and undertake all relevant reporting.
Essential
- Experience working in a similar position.
- Experience in developing project plans and bringing a project to fruition within budget and within the agreed time frame.
- Project Management experience in similar or complimentary environment.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
- Ability to work effectively on several tasks with competing deadlines effectively.
- Ability to exercise initiative and work both independently and in collaboration with others.
- Ability to build stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to identify, build and promote referral sources.
- Effective and appropriate written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable
- Project Management qualifications.
- Experience and knowledge of mental health.
