AgeWise Resident Mental Health Program
Providing evidence based mental health interventions to people living in Residential Aged Care Facilities, our experienced and professional mental health clinicians use a person-centred approach. They come to residents’ homes across the state, so there’s no need to travel.
Our team includes psychologists, mental health nurses, mental health accredited social workers and social workers, all with significant experience working within the mental health sector and supporting older persons.
Residents can access up to 10 free sessions per year, either as group sessions, one-on-one, or a mixture of both.
The program is open to those experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns. Anyone can make a referral to the program – it’s as easy as completing our short referral form, then we will get in touch.

Program Expansion Expressions of Interest
Richmond Health are expanding this program and are currently inviting expressions of interest from other providers of residential aged care across Tasmania to participate in the program. To be considered for this opportunity, Residential Aged Care Facilities will need to:
- Express their interest to Richmond Health via referrals@richmondtas.com.au
- Engage and meet with the Richmond Health Team to explain the program
- Undertake an assessment of resident needs and facility capability
- Sign a Memorandum of Understanding Agreement with Richmond Health (must be signed by the Director or CEO)
