This is the first time I have had the chance to really talk to someone about what has happened in my life and how it has affected me.
I didn’t expect it to but being in the AgeWise program really helped me through a hard time. It was confidential and I really felt that my life experience was respected.
Thank you so much… Dad has told me how much he has benefited from the sessions and wants to thank you for all you have done. He is in a better headspace than last year.
The mental health clinician has made a positive impact on our residents’ day-to-day living. Imalka was able to find the risk, build trust and implemented an effective intervention for our resident. I am very pleased with the dedication and effort she has demonstrated to our residents. In light of the strong impact of their input, I have also referred the team to a few other residents. I am confident that she will make a significant change in the resident’s mental health.
It is a privilege to support people in their older years, walk beside them through change and empower them to find meaning and hope in their new chapter.
